The more you want the job, the more desperate you come off in the room, but you still need to take acting seriously, otherwise this is just going to be a hobby.
You must have a life outside of acting so that you don’t go crazy only thinking about acting, you must have a survival job that’s flexible enough to allow you to go audition but pay well enough in case you don’t book the role, but you also must be willing and able to drop all of that once you book a big enough role.
You should be prepared to play any type of character, but mainly the ones you’ll be cast in because of the way you look and sound.
The project couldn’t be brought to life without you, but you are nothing without the words of the writer.
